Simmerdim is a fine example of a good owner-finished craft with custom touches not available in production craft. Simmerdim is hull number #023, moulded in 1979 and completed in 1985. The care taken in 6-years of fitting out is evident, and she also had the benefit of the experiences of other Corbins and so incorporates a bowsprit. The overall vessel condition is above average.
The original owner (1979 to 2007), Janis Priedkalns (Toronto) built and sailed Simmerdim on Lake Ontario (Etobicoke Yacht Club). The current owners (2007 to now), are Jacinthe Cormier and Gilles Lebrun who sail, with their family, in Canada, Atlantic Provinces, homeport being Halifax, NS.
Over the years, Simmerdim has received love and care in return for comfort, freedom and safety at sea.
