Brief history | Appeared on CAN reg 1986-09-25 when fitting out completed. This hull was in the yard at the time of the 1982 fire. Apparently there was a minor amount of fire damage at the stern. This was repaired by the yard, but it is the explanation for the the absence of the HIN. It is quite likely that this is hull number #103, #118 or #121 as documents that Patrick Levenson has show moulded in 1981 but sold in 1982. A side-effect is that the topsides received the later mk2 pilothouse treatment for the centre-cockpit version - in the early mk2 style with bolted seams rather than the later moulded seams. Fitted out by Michele & Remi Barriere. Then sailed by them for 16-years (to approx 2004) before being laid up in a yard for many years. Bought and being refurbished in 2022 by Patrick Levenson. Interestingly the original yard-fitted shaft bracket was iron, and lasted the initial 16-years. As of 2022 being replaced in stainless. |
